We work to the two key British Standards for tree work which cover the most important procedures necessary: British Standard 3998:1989 ‘British Standard Recommendations for Tree Work’ and British Standard 5837:1991 ‘Trees in Relation to Construction’. Your trees will be well cared for.

Many trees are protected by the law, including trees in Conservation Areas and trees covered by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s). We will check the legal position with your local Council and obtain any necessary consent before work begins. You will be able to be confident that no work will be carried out that may infringe legal restrictions.

Before we begin work, we carry out a full risk assessment to ensure that you, your neighbours and your property are protected during our work. With domestic properties we will let your neighbours know that we are carrying out work on your behalf and liaise with them on any concerns they may have. We work in ways that are environmentally sound, minimising our use of chemicals and natural resources and protecting wildlife.

And we respect your environment too. Unless you want to retain logs or chippings for your own use we will remove all prunings and other waste, leaving your property clean and tidy. The cost of this will be included in the quotation we give you.

All our work is covered by comprehensive insurance so you know that you will be protected fully during any work we carry out. We hold public liability insurance of up to £5,000,000.
